Arrivals in the evening of Wednesday 27th. There is nothing scheduled on Wednesday evening but those present will probably go for a meal together.
The conference begins on Thursday 28th morning (pick-up from hotel at 9.00am and NSG at 915am) and finishes at 4.00pm on Friday 1st March 2019.

Please arrive anytime on Wednesday evening.
The conference ends at 4.00pm on Friday. Flights home any time from 7.00pm.

Travel
The airport is Copenhagen (CPH), Kastrup. On arrival, go to Terminal 3 (if you are not already there; there is a free shuttle bus from Terminal 1) and follow signs for the Metro (Metro in Danish). Do not follow signs for trains (Tog in Danish). The Metro station is on the upper floor (above the concourse level). Buy your ticket from the ticket machine: it displays in English. You will need a ticket for three zones. The cost is around DK38 (=£3.80). The Metro line that leaves the airport is M2 (the yellow line). Metro map here

Gentlemen need to travel to Kongens Nytorv station which is a 6-minute walk from the hotel, Wakeup Copenhagen Borgergade.

Ladies need to travel on to the next stop, Nørreport. On leaving the station, make your way to the big concourse in the centre of the street (you may already be there depending on which exit you used from the Metro) - just beyond it, in the centre of the wide street, you will find a taxi rank. The cost of a taxi to Niels Steensens Gymnasium is around DK110 (=£11).

The journey time in both cases is about 15-minutes. The Metro departs about every 10-minutes.

Accommodation
The gentlemen will have B&B accommodation in central Copenhagen at Wakeup Copenhagen Borgergade, Borgergade 9,1300 København K. Please note there are several Wakeup Copenhagen hotels in the city. You want the one in Borgergade, central Copenhagen.

The ladies will be accommodated in an NSG apartment near the school in Østerbro.

Clothing
Copenhagen can be cold and the wind biting at this time of the year and we will be outdoors for some of the time. Please bring warm clothing and sturdy footwear.

Money
Remember that Denmark does not use the Euro. You will need Danish Kroner (DK). As a very rough guide, there are about DK10 to £1.

Dietary or access requirements
If you have special access or dietary requirements (including vegetarian diet) please let us know as soon as possible.

Dress Code
Informal (but warm!). Daytime temperature is forcast to be 8 or 9C.

Cost
The accommodation and administrative costs of the conference are met by the British Jesuit Province for Jesuit schools. Your school should cover your travel costs.
