Jesuit Institute Note Cards

The Jesuit Institute has produced a series of Note Cards for sale.

The cards are A6 in size and come with a white envelope. The inside is blank for your message. The reverse includes a description of the image on the front of the card.

60p each or ten for £5 for plus postage and packing.

The Rationes Decem of St Edmund Campion

The chapter page from the Rationes Decem (Ten Reasons) printed on a secret press at Stonor House in 1581 and distributed at the University Church, Oxford. This act led to Edmund Campion's capture, trial and martyrdom.

St Ignatius at Manresa

Oil painting (1904) by Albert Chevallier-Tayler from the Ignatius Chapel of the Church of the Sacred Heart, Wimbledon. The picture shows Ignatius in the cave at Manresa (1522) above the River Cardoner, writing the Spiritual Exercises.

The monogram of the holy name of Jesus in the Church of the Gesù at Rome. This mnogram has become the emblem of the Society of Jesus and its schools, universities and parishes worldwide. An explanation and history of the monogram is given on the reverse of the card.
