Shared Vision 2 is for teachers (and teaching assistants) and focuses on the Jesuit method of teaching and learning (known as Ignatian Pedagogy). We will look at classroom practice and how the spirit of St Ignatius can inform our teaching today. You do not need to have been on Shared Vision 1 to attend this course, but it does give helpful context and background.

Dates and Times
Thursday 18th - Friday 19th May 2017.
We begin with lunch at 12.45pm on the Thursday and finish at 2.45pm promptly on the Friday.
The first session on Thursday is at 1.30pm; so if this means you could catch a more convenient later train (eg. from Glasgow) please feel free to do so (but you will miss lunch so please have something to eat on the train!). Please do not make travel arrangements which mean leaving the conference early. It is important to have everyone participating for the whole conference. Thank you.
It takes 15-minutes comfortably to walk to/from the train or bus station. Walking is quicker than taking a taxi because of Oxford's one-way system. A printable map is available below.

Getting to/from Campion Hall from Heathrow or Gatwick airports
There is no visitor parking at Campion Hall and parking in the city of Oxford is very restricted and expensive. If you need to drive, it is best to use one of the Park and Ride facilities which circle the city.
Accommodation is in single rooms.
Some rooms are en suite but a dressing gown is provided if you are in a room that is not and there are showers close by.
Towels are provided.
Please bring toiletries. There is a Tesco Express two-minutes' walk away (open 7am to 11pm) if you forget anything.
The accommodation costs of the meeting are met by the Jesuit Province.
Your school should cover travel costs.
If you have any questions about this conference please contact Fr Adrian Porter SJ (office 01784 494065 or mobile 07557 902004 or email firstname.lastname@example.org).
